Eqvvs home workout series πͺπ½. Ever wished there was an effective workout you could do in the comfort of your home (or hotel room while you are traveling) without any equipment or machines?! With Eqvvs home workout series we are going to show you a whole load of ace exercises you can do anywhere with minimal equipment or space. GOOD MORNING ππ½... No, really... Good Morning!! This is a fantastic move that is harder than it looks! This will really work your hammies and also is fantastic to help work on that pelvic tilt. Conquering this move will massively help with many other moves and in time will unable you to lift more load ππ½ππ½ππ½. Start a couple of steps from the wall and then take your hips back so that your bum touches the wall behind you. Make sure the weight is all in your heels (not toes!) and it's all in the hips to take your bum back. This may be hard to start so just start a little closer to the wall. Don't let your chest bow too much and keep your back aligned. It will feel a big stretch down the back of your legs. Try and keep your legs with just a slight bend at the knee. When you get back to standing SQUEEZE YOUR BUM CHEEKSπππ We have done this move holding a towel out in front of you. Keep tension on the towel but keep your shoulders relaxed. The towel should stay exactly where it is at all times as its your hips that are moving. As always keep your core engaged and this will help with balance. HAPPY FRIDAY πͺπ½πͺπ½πͺπ½πͺπ½πͺπ½πͺπ½. With Eqvvs home workout series we are going to show you a whole load of ace exercises you can do anywhere with minimal equipment or space. BOOOM πͺπ½ This morning we have the PRESS UP! A great place to start is a press up against the wall. Step a couple of steps back for the wall and up on the tip toes lean forward to take your hands to the wall. Hands nice and wide (shoulders in line with wrists) and make sure you really keep your tummy tight so that your body stays in that nice straight line. Lead with your chest (NOT your hips) towards the wall and back again. Make sure your shoulders are relaxed. Progressions β‘οΈ take it to the floor! Get in that plank position with your shoulders in line with your wrists and tummy tight. From here drop your knees to the floor but keep that core engaged. Now take the press up β‘οΈ try it on your toes for a full press up! Remember we want your chest to lead so if your hips are dipping try and engage your tummy more or take it down to your knees. More important to get banging form on your knees than mediocre from your toes ππΌππΌππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½πͺπ½πͺπ½πͺπ½. Give it a go!! Get that bum firing by putting your weight into your heels (lift up your big toe in your shoe) ππ. Keep your chest lifted as you slowly get that bum down and then come back up and squeeze your bum at the top! Work your way into this.. It's unlikely you will be able to get your "ass to grass" if you are new to this one so just try and get a little lower each time. Progression β‘οΈ try an overhead squat. Easily done at home by holding a towel above your head. Keep tension on the towel but keep your shoulders relaxed. Even harder to keep your chest upright but imagine you have a wall either side of you and keep that body up! It's a killer π₯π₯π₯π₯ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½. NB keep it SLOW- these vids have been sped up !
